For the last two services of the academic year, we'll be using Eucharistic Prayer F from the Church of England (Common Worship: Services and Prayers for the Church of England). Also too, we were informed that the Rev Nils Chittenden has accepted the call to be the new Chaplain at the EC. Hopefully, he'll be arriving in late July, to assume his position the beginning of August. He visited the US last year, wanting to know more about how US universities do their ministries to college students. He rang us up during dinner and we had a lovely conversation, with the students introducing themselves and having a general "get to know you" discussion.

Compline at Chapel of the Cross.

We've been using the Order for Compline, as set by David Hurd. Our little additions:

Alleluia (Andrea Gabrieli)
Psalm 91 (chanted to Tone 8)
Hymn: O sons and daughters, let us sing (O FILII ET FILIAE)
Nunc Dimittis from Short Service (O. Gibbons)
Concluding Versicle and Response in Easter Season ("Let us bless the Lord, alleluia, alleluia ...")
Regina Coeli (Marian antiphon right after the Dismissal)
Ave Maria (Robert Parsons)
Organ Voluntary: Improvisation on O filii et filiae by the abfab David Arcus.
